LendLease has announced its first Returnship Programme, that will start on 1 October 2019 and run until March 2020.  Designed to re-engage experienced, talented professionals who have taken a voluntary career break, several types of roles are on offer including Project Manager, BIM Manager, Design Manager, and Planning Manager.

The aim is to offer successful participants a permanent role with LendLease at the end of the programme (by mutual agreement).  Flexible and part-time permanent roles are potentially available, subject to a minimum expectation of 30 hours per week.

The Returnship Programme is based in London.

LendLease says:

“We’re excited to launch our Returnship Programme. It is designed to re-engage experienced, talented professionals who have taken a voluntary career break and help facilitate their transition back into the workforce.

We’re looking for dedicated talented professionals, like you, who have taken a break from their career of two or more years and are now ready to return to work. We recognise that the transition back to work can be a challenge and this programme has been set to support you on this journey.

Over this six-month paid placement, you will receive training to build your confidence in returning to work, you will complete projects and tasks that build on your current skillset and enhance your knowledge of the industry. You will be mentored and coached with an aim to securing a permanent position with us at the end of this paid placement.”
